Divorce brings financial decisions about income, the home, retirement, investments, support, debt, taxes, cash flow—while other parts of your life are changing at the same time.
BrainstormingWomen provides divorce financial planning and strategy to help you understand how those financial pieces may fit together.

Momentum is a concentrated divorce financial planning engagement designed to give you dedicated time to focus on the financial decisions in front of you—without allowing those decisions to stretch indefinitely across your calendar.
Before we meet, I review the financial information and documents you provide so our time together can be spent working through the questions, tradeoffs, and decisions that matter.
Your Momentum Experience:
Preparation and Financial Review
You will receive a financial document checklist to help you gather the information most relevant to your situation.
I spend up to four hours reviewing and organizing the information, identifying areas that deserve closer attention, and preparing for our work together.
Strategy & Preparation Call
We begin with a one-hour private session to discuss what I am seeing, clarify your priorities, and determine where our focused working time will be most valuable.
Four Hours of Focused Financial Strategy
We then spend four dedicated hours working through your financial picture and the decisions in front of you.
Charlotte Private Day
Two private two-hour sessions in Charlotte, separated by approximately one hour for lunch and a mental reset.
Virtual Focused Week
Two private two-hour Zoom sessions, generally completed within the same week/day.
After Our Working Sessions
Momentum also includes up to one hour of additional financial analysis, cash-flow work, or follow-up based on what arises during our sessions.
By the end of Momentum, you should have a clearer understanding of:
Investment: $5,000
Available in Charlotte or virtually throughout the United States.

Some financial questions do not require months of ongoing work. They require concentrated, experienced attention at the right moment.
The Divorce Financial Intensive is designed for exactly that: a private, focused session where your preparation and my financial divorce expertise come together.
Is this right for you?
If you are the kind of woman who reads the account statements, keeps a spreadsheet, and generally feels capable of handling the legwork—but wants someone who understands divorce finance to sit across from you and talk it through—this was designed for you.
You do not need someone to gather everything for you. You need someone who can review what you have prepared, help you understand what it may mean for your situation, and identify what you may be overlooking before an important conversation with your attorney, mediator, or spouse.
How it works
Before our session, you will complete a structured financial questionnaire and gather the requested financial information. This may include account statements, property information, income records, debt information, and other documents relevant to the questions you want to address.
I spend up to 90 minutes reviewing your completed questionnaire and prepared financial materials before we meet. This allows me to become familiar with your circumstances, identify areas that deserve closer attention, and prepare an agenda for our work together.
The advance review means our three hours are not spent simply sorting through documents. We can focus on your questions, examine the financial implications of the choices in front of you, and identify information that may still be needed.
We then meet in person for a private three-hour working session. Together, we may review your financial position, consider potential tradeoffs, and clarify your next steps—whether you are preparing for a conversation with your attorney, considering options before mediation, or trying to understand where you stand financially.
What’s included
Best for
Women who are comfortable gathering and organizing their own financial information and want an efficient, expert-led session rather than an extended engagement. It may be particularly helpful when you have defined questions, are beginning to understand the financial landscape, or are preparing for an upcoming professional conversation.
The Divorce Financial Intensive does not include extensive document organization, tracing, detailed settlement modeling, business valuation analysis, or ongoing support. When deeper review and customized analysis are needed, Momentum may be the more appropriate place to begin.
Investment: $2,500
Available in person in the Charlotte area beginning this fall.
As your divorce progresses, new information, settlement proposals, mediation, or other financial questions may arise.
When additional analysis or support would be useful after Momentum or a Divorce Financial Intensive, hourly divorce financial planning may be available at $350 per hour with an initial retainer.
There is no requirement to continue into hourly services. We determine together whether additional work would be useful based on what your circumstances actually require.
